Good Morning Running Family,
So it is June 3rd and I am just now getting you the End of May One Step Forward Board. As most of you know I was out of town at Clemson University for an amazing football camp for our son.. It did get me behind on this but what an amazing experience.. So thank you for your patience and here you are!!
You guys have killed the miles in May! Even with the heat you guys did amazing!!
For June our group goal will be 70 miles... but remember even if you are not where you can run that many miles.. it is okay!! Have a goal! That is what matters!! I will ask for week 1 of June miles on Jun 9th.
A couple of announcements:
1. Don't forget to get signed up for Wednesday's Global Running Day...https://globalrunningday.org/zfv71xh this should take you directly to our team page to make your pledge! I pledged that our group would try to do 100 miles on this day!! Two people signed up so far! Lets get together and make a difference. If you can meet us at 6 pm on Wednesday @ Suffolk Sea Coast Trail to do those miles lets do it!!
2. Another shot out for your Race on June 29th, at 0800. We have 50 slots and 6 people signed up so far. We also have 20 slots available for kids!! They get a medal and t shirt as well!! Lets get together and make a difference for ourselves, our health and our kids!!
3. Gus from BURNFit in Suffolk has joined the group and would also like to offer the attached coupon to anyone that would like to come out and check out their gym. They are also going to help encourage our run group to their members!! Thank you Gus!!
Last thing!! I am going to put together a 3 question survey that will be sent out today... if you don't mind to please answer the 3 quick questions. It will help our group to grow. Thank you all that have invited your friends and family to us! I am praying over you and your week! Take care!

"Don't you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. So I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. Otherwise, I fear that after preaching to others I myself might be disqualified." 1 Corinthians 9:24-27
